Host filmmakers release terrifying teaser for new movie Dashcam

Blumhouse has released a trailer for Dashcam, a new PC screen horror game from the team that created the host.

Not to be confused with the same 2021 Christian Nilsson movie, Dashcam follows a musician named Annie (Annie Hardy). (Amar Charda Patel). Annie continues to broadcast her journey live to thousands of fans, even if her sinister forces confuse her.

The short trailer seen above shows Annie’s dash cam footage begging Angela. On the left side of the screen, fan comments are watching the live stream and asking Annie to stay in the car.

The film is directed by Rob Savage, who wrote the script with Gemma Hurley and Jed Shepherd. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2021 before Momentum Pictures acquired distribution rights in 2022.

The horror host Rob Savage, which took place in a zoom call between several friends, received a positive review in 2020. Dashcam is Savage’s second PC screen-style horror game and is highly anticipated by host fans.

Dashcams will be available on demand on June 3rd in the United States and June 6th in the United Kingdom. It will be screened in theaters on June 3rd in both countries.

Dashcam, not to be confused with Christian Nilsson’s 2021 film of the same, follows a musician named Annie (Annie Hardy) who travels to the UK in order to escape COVID-19-related lockdowns in the United States and visit her old bandmate Stretch (Amer Chadha-Patel). Annie continues to live-stream her journey for thousands of fans, even when sinister forces take her on a detour.
The short teaser, which can be viewed above, shows dashcam footage of Annie pleading with Angela – a frail old woman who is convinced that something evil is after her. To the left of the screen are comments from fans watching live, who are begging Annie not to leave the car.
The film is directed by Rob Savage, who penned the script alongside Gemma Hurley and Jed Shepherd. It first premiered at the 2021 Toronto Internation Film before Momentum Pictures acquired distribution rights in 2022.
