Fans soon realized that they were coordinating the Third Street Promenade, an outdoor mall in Santa Monica, California. In a live stream, the camera periodically zooms in and out on the clock. It resembles a branch covered with tentacles and the web, and is strongly reminiscent of upside down and its resident monster, Demogorgon. A man in a lab coat reading the Hawkins National Laboratory (HNL) takes turns approaching the clock and checking the map. HNL was widely featured in the first season as a test facility where Eleven was detained and tested.

The first episode of Stranger Things Season 4 will begin on May 27th and the second half will air on July 1st. The series ended after Season 5, and the Duffer brothers said the story of the series was “too big” to complete. In just four seasons.

The clock counts some hours and minutes. YouTuber users have speculated in stream chat that the countdown is a brand new trailer or bigger.
